RN Charge Nurse - NICU (Night Shift)

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

• Charge Nurse role in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Must have NICU clinical experience and leadership experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Completion of DCI/BVP workplace violence prevention training
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Charge Nurse roles

Additional Information

• Orientation paperwork provided on first scheduled shift
• Some documents and tests must be completed or uploaded prior to or on the first day of assignment
• Annual renewal requirements apply for fit testing, physical, and certain vaccinations/tests

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role
• The shift is overnight, approximately 12.5 hours per shift
