Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington, Florida
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday to Friday
On-Call: 2 weekends and 15 shifts required

Job Description

• Provide patient care in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver competent, caring, and efficient nursing care.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems and admission assessments within established timeframes.
• Make initial assessments and determine appropriate nursing needs with proper documentation.
• Understand and address the range of treatments needed by patients in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Stroke care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

Work Hours

• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
• On-call coverage includes 2 weekends and 15 shifts during the contract.

• This position fulfills patient, family, and community care needs in an acute care Interventional Radiology setting.
