Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist Tech - Nights (3/16)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

• Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
• Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
• Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• Utilize equipment such as computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent

Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
Hours: No guarantee of hours

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiopulmonary specialty
• State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• RRT and NRP certifications preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
