Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapist (Occupational Therapy) - Days

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 20 weeks

Job Description

• Provide rehabilitation therapy services in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients.
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
• Independently manage a full caseload.
• Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
• Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements.
• Work may include Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed.
• Use department equipment and electronic medical records systems.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience working with adult patients.
• Experience in both acute care and outpatient settings.
• BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross.

Additional Information

• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
• Timely arrival is mandatory; do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
