Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Oregon

Location: Lincoln City, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The Medical Surgical unit provides care for acutely ill adults and patients requiring emergent or elective surgery. Registered Nurses deliver high standards of professional care. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS certification

Experience

Minimum 1 year of specialty experience in Medical Surgical Nursing (based on standard expectations; no explicit travel experience required)

Pros

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
