Nursing Home Registered Nurse (Contract)

Location: New Lisbon, Wisconsin

Position Summary

Assist with day-to-day nursing activities in a nursing home setting. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

Essential Job Duties

• Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, etc.
• Complete all applicable resident assessments
• Administer medications following the 5 Rights
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights
• Monitor residents for changes in condition
• Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to appropriate leadership
• Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
• Perform other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
