Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapist - Acute / Inpatient

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

Provide physical therapy services primarily in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting, with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab.
Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents/patients.
Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists.
Provide consulting physical therapy services as needed.
Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on hospital operations.
Use of EMR system (Meditech) is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Hawaii.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience working with adult patients.
Experience in Acute Care, Post Acute, and Rehabilitation settings.

Schedule

Variable shifts including:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
