Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. This role requires practicing within the scope of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Additional duties include data entry for billing and logging case data into the department’s digital archive.
This position also supports staffing needs for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Emergency Department (ED) Boarders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Recent acute care experience, including experience in Emergency Department (ED), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Experience with moderate complexity testing is implied due to CAP requirements.
