Sonographer (Echo Tech) - Travel Contract

• Lakewood, Washington

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform echocardiography studies including TTE, TEE, contrast, and bubble studies.
• Average of 7 studies per day.
• Work both outpatient and inpatient cases depending on site needs.
• Possible floating to cover up to 4 different sites, but primarily assigned to one site.
• Use Philips Epiq 7 and iE33 ultrasound machines.
• Document studies using Epic and Change Healthcare EMR systems.
• Work under a regional echo supervisor with cardiologist support on-site.
• No IV starts required.
• Schedule consists of 4/10 hour day shifts with variable start times.
• Weekend and possible holiday work required.
• Occasional on-call with a 45-minute response time.
• Scrubs provided.
• Department-specific orientation will be provided.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech.
• Active BLS certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
