Required Qualifications

Active RN role
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Minimum 1 year of experience
Driver’s license required at submittal

Preferred Qualifications

Oncology experience
ONS/ONCC certification
Chemo certification

Unit Details

Adult oncology PCU and trauma PCU patient population
18-bed unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 to 1:5
Travelers float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care

Clinical / Work Environment

High-flow respiratory equipment may be encountered
Common drips/medications include chemotherapy, heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix
Insulin and Cardizem drips may be titrated occasionally
Two days of unit orientation

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Pass/fail exam during orientation
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
