Radiology Tech Travel Assignment - California (Redding)

Position Overview

• Role: Radiology Tech
• Location: Redding, California
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Department: Diagnostic Radiology
• Facility Type: Hospital setting (includes OR, ER, inpatient & outpatient)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Tech experience (1st time travelers may be considered)
• Active certifications/licenses:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist - Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience)
  • Fluoroscopy license (required by the state of California)
  • California Radiology Tech license
• Must have CT experience (Rad Tech II level)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, able to hit the ground running
• Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required

Work Environment & Equipment

• EMR/Equipment: Cerner, Philips iPatient 64, Big Bore 16
• Work areas include Operating Room (OR), Emergency Room (ER), inpatient and outpatient settings
• Use of C-arms in the OR
• Well-staffed overall; night shifts may have fewer resources and be more challenging

Shifts & Scheduling

• Shift lengths: 8, 10, or 12 hours (specific shift details provided during interview process)
• Typical 12-hour shifts from 12 PM to 12:30 AM (may vary)
• Weekend and holiday work expected as needed
• Call schedule varies; details provided during second interview
• Radiologist coverage: In-house until 6 PM, then on-call

Orientation & Reporting

• Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts in the department
• Reports to Manager and team lead

• Scrub color: Teal (provided if working in OR)
• Must be prepared for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
