Job Opportunity: Social Worker (PEDS Social Work/Discharge Planning)

Location: Jackson, Mississippi

Job Details

Specialty: Pediatric Social Work / Discharge Planning
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5/2 split (e.g., work every Monday and Tuesday, plus every other weekend)
Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM

Required Qualifications

Valid Social Worker license in Mississippi (LMSW or LCSW)
Minimum 2 years of Social Work experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Pediatric patients in an Acute Care setting
Case Management experience
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with Epic charting system
Skills in crisis intervention, grief and bereavement, and discharge planning
Flu vaccine required (medical exemption allowed with documented evidence)
Fingerprint clearance required (can be completed remotely or in person prior to assignment)

Additional Information

Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered
Position posted under both Case Management and Social Work, but only one opening available
