Job Opportunity: Social Worker (PEDS Social Work/Discharge Planning)
Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Job Details
- Specialty: Pediatric Social Work / Discharge Planning
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5/2 split (e.g., work every Monday and Tuesday, plus every other weekend)
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Social Worker license in Mississippi (LMSW or LCSW)
- Minimum 2 years of Social Work experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients in an Acute Care setting
- Case Management experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Skills in crisis intervention, grief and bereavement, and discharge planning
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemption allowed with documented evidence)
- Fingerprint clearance required (can be completed remotely or in person prior to assignment)
