Patient ratios: 2:1, 1:1 for higher acuity, and 3:1 for lower step-down acuity
Equipment used includes vents, drips, chest tubes, central lines, syringe pumps, trachs, and GT
EMR: Meditech

May float to all children’s units and NICU, including PIMC, PSRG, Pedi Hemonc, ER for inpatient holds, and PCICU

Typical procedures include central line and chest tube placement, sedation, LP, and intubation
Best fit is someone who is flexible, communicates well with the medical team, and has a friendly, positive attitude
