Overview

Travel assignment in Joplin, Missouri
2 openings
36 guaranteed hours per week
Variable 3x12 shift, to be determined at interview/offer
Weekend hours are rotating
Call is as required by the facility
Float requirements: standard

Required Qualifications

Medical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Medical Technologist experience within the last year
MT/MLS or ASCP
BLS
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Driver's License
Experience with Roche Chemistry
Experience with Sysmex Hematology
Experience with Ortho gel testing
Experience with Wellsky-HCLL Transfusion software
Experience with EPIC Beaker
Medical Lab Technician experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification through ASCP or equivalent
Experience working as a generalist Medical Technologist in Micro, Blood Bank, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Chemistry

Unit Information

Core Lab
EPIC used as the EMR

Additional Notes

Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with client-approved exceptions
Black scrubs are required
Anything other than black scrubs is not acceptable
