Registered Nurse (LTAC/Telemetry) – Per Diem

Location: San Leandro, California
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)

Job Summary

Provide patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry setting, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Responsibilities include:

Applying critical thinking and scientific judgment to plan and deliver safe care
Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegating patient care tasks based on staff education and experience
Supervising and directing assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
