Registered Nurse (LTC) - Travel Position

Location: Damariscotta, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Hours per Week: 36 (every other weekend, 8-hour shifts)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes, float between both hallways on the same level of care

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Patient population includes skilled and long-term care residents, some with dementia
• Work with equipment such as total lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, Doppler, EKG, IVs, and feeding tubes
• Documentation using PCC and EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Patient ratios vary

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of Long Term Care nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in LTC or SNF nursing
• Respectful, team-oriented, and patient-focused attitude

Additional Information

• Facility has 54 beds
• Dress code: scrubs (no specific color required)
• No call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with every other weekend off
