Job Overview

  • Travel RN position in Conroe, Texas
  • Labor and Delivery unit
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Post Partum experience
  • Maternal - Newborn experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Charge experience

Unit Details

  • 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 OR beds, and 1 recovery room bed
  • Typical patient ratio: 1:1 to 2:1
  • Floating may include Mother/Baby

Common Procedures

  • Laboring and vaginal delivery
  • C-sections
  • Care of newly delivered mothers and their newborns

Work Environment

  • Team-oriented, motivated, independent, and flexible candidate preferred
  • Royal blue scrubs required
