Mammography Tech - Radiology

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform mammography and DEXA scans.
• Conduct stereotactic breast biopsies and needle localization procedures.
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Utilize equipment including Hologic Selenia, Hologic Discovery, and Affirm prone biopsy table.
• Use EHR systems: CERNER and Change PACS.
• 1:1 patient ratio in a 120-bed facility.

Schedule

• Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with breast biopsy procedures is a plus.
• Must be a team player, hardworking, and patient-focused.
• Strong communication skills and outgoing personality preferred.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed; acrylic nails and hats are not permitted.
• No float or call requirements.
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.

• Mammography units: Hologic Selenia and Hologic Discovery
• Biopsy table: Affirm prone biopsy table
• Electronic Health Records: CERNER, Change PACS

• Level III Trauma facility
• Located in a high desert region with access to local parks, historical sites, and wine-growing areas.
