Echo Tech

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Colorado
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Schedule

  • Day shift: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Rotating weekends
  • On-call: 2 nights per week, including rotating weekends

Required Qualifications

  • Echo Technologist (6 months of experience)
  • Echo Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • RCS
  • Echo Tech Certification
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARDMS
  • Prior Meditech experience

Work Setting

  • Acute care cardiac sonography unit
  • Equipment includes GE E95 and Philips Epiq

Responsibilities

  • Adult echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients
  • Transesophageal echocardiograms
  • Bubble studies
  • Definity contrast studies
  • Structured reporting on all procedures

Additional Details

  • Black or hospital-provided scrubs are required
  • Candidate should be flexible, team-oriented, patient-focused, and able to communicate well with staff and providers
