Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: St. Joseph, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Weekend Hours: Approximately 1 weekend per month
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: May float to other units within the hospital if census drops

• Unit: 3N Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
• Number of Beds: 18
• Trauma Level: Level 2 trauma hospital
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, joint replacement, orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions
• Patient Ratios: Nursing 5:1
• Equipment: Standard physical therapy equipment
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Completion of hospital-required trainings

Dress Code

• Solid color scrubs (matching top and bottom) or black bottoms with any solid color top
• Closed-toe shoes required
• No outside branded t-shirts allowed

Additional Notes

• This role requires flexibility to float to other units if needed
• The position emphasizes working with adult and geriatric patients in a rehabilitation setting
• No call or overnight shifts required
