Unit Information

Unit: Angiography / Special Procedures
Number of Beds: 4
Number of Staff: 9 (Day Shift: 5 RNs and 4 technologists)
Equipment: Phillips and GE biplane
EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

Must have Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) experience
Typical procedures involve heavy Neuro volumes
Dress Code: Navy Scrubs
On-call required after hours and on weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including Neuro IR technologist experience within the last year
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification
Understanding of USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Candidates without Neuro IR experience will not be considered
