Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Washington, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7 PM – 7 AM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: None

Job Description

Operate therapeutic gas administration devices and mechanical ventilators.
Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Maintain patient charts with identification and therapy information.
Float to other units as needed.
Work in accordance with organizational mission, vision, and values.

Unit Information

EMR system used: EPIC
Patient population includes acute care, trauma, and intensive care patients.
Basic nursery experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Additional Information

Must be able to float as needed.
Dress code: Black scrubs.
No unacceptable attire specified.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center with a focus on quality care in a supportive environment.
