• Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Monday - Thursday)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: No weekends, no holidays
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Unit Beds: 12
• EMR System: EPIC
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Description

• Provide direct patient care for post-operative patients who had surgery during the day (not a PACU position).
• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort.
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring navigation of multiple computer systems.
• Deliver quality care in a post-op setting.

Skills & Experience

• Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with surgical/OR patients preferred.

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval).
• No float requirements.
