Facility & Unit Overview

• Acute care facility with 143 beds
• Unit: Women’s Services (Antepartum Department)
• Beds: 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Antepartum, 10 Postpartum/GYN/Peds
• Patient Population: Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, pediatrics
• Patient Ratios: Based on acuity
• Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue
• EHR System: MediTech

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, GYN
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Yes
• Number of Openings: 1

Required Qualifications

• RN licensure valid in North Carolina
• Certifications (must have prior to start):

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • STABLE
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery with charge nurse experience
