Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel assignment)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Stemi Call: Approximately 10 to 12 days per month (self-scheduling)
• Floating Policy: Within departments including EP and Stress Lab
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Unit Beds: 7 holding beds
• Equipment Used: GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation Systems: MacLab, Meditech
• Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital

Required Certifications & Skills

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Experience with:

  • Structural Heart procedures
  • IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
  • Impella device
  • IFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio)
  • FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve)
• Advanced Skills Needed:

  • PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
  • PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure
  • Impella and IABP management

Procedures Performed on Unit

• TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
• PFO closure
• Atherectomy
• PCI
• Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
• Impella/IABP support
• Implants
• DCCV (Direct Current Cardioversion)
• TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
