Job Opportunity: CST/ORT Surgical Technologist (Travel)
Location: Springfield, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Prepare the operating room, including the sterile field.
- Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
- Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
- Prepare and manage surgical equipment.
- Manage the sterile field and specimens simultaneously.
- Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects.
Requirements
- Certification from a CAAHEP-accredited or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.
- National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
Work Schedule
- 10-hour shifts.
- Call as required, with a minimum of 4 call shifts per month.
No prior travel experience explicitly required.
