Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Call Requirements: None
Weekends: Rotate

Unit Information

• Unit: ICU
• Number of Beds: 24
• Number of Staff: 12 (Day Shift: 1 charge nurse + 11-12 RNs; Night Shift: 1 charge nurse + 11-12 RNs)
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• Equipment: TABLO, Belmont/Level 1 rapid infuser, Camino/Integra ICP monitoring, Flo-trac, Rotoprone, ventilators, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and gtt management
• EMR System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: No

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Years of Experience in Specialty: Minimum 3 years direct ICU experience (higher value taken from description)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Trauma experience (TNCC/TCAR)

Typical Procedures Performed

• Code intubation
• Trauma level 1 intervention
• Code resuscitation
