Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Henderson, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Work Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM, 7 days on / 7 days off (first night starts Wednesday)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The CT Technologist will perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and help facilitate efficient patient flow. Flexibility to work other shifts and/or at other campuses is required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic maintenance, participating in quality assurance, resolving image processing and archiving issues, and maintaining imaging competencies. The role requires adherence to organizational values, policies, and patient confidentiality.

• Adapt patient care methods to meet diverse patient needs
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital policies and standards
• Perform imaging examinations to assist patient throughput within licensure and competency scope
• Work flexible shifts and locations as needed
• Ensure exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues appropriately
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions with follow-up
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred and required)
• Basic computer skills

Licenses & Certifications

• Primary modality certification required:

  • Radiography (R) by ARRT, or
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT or NMTCB required
• Texas MRT licensure by TMB required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
