Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Neuro/Surgical ICU)

Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Position Details

  • Specialty: Neuro/Surgical ICU
  • Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Unit Beds: 12
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
  • Equipment: Ventilators, Arterial lines, Central Venous Lines (CVLs)
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Float Requirements: Float as needed within scope, including facilities within a 25-mile radius

Required Qualifications

  • License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for Alabama
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Neuro and Surgical ICU
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Work Environment & Culture

  • Type of Patients: Neuro and Intensive Care patients
  • Dress Code: Scrubs mandatory, navy scrub color preferred
