Travel RN - Rehab
Location: Ogden, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Acute Rehab Unit
- Number of Beds: 15
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 with occasional 1:6
- Staffing: Tech available for every 10-15 patients; no unit secretaries; charge nurse within ratio
- Equipment: Transfer equipment (Sara Steady, Hoyer lift), cardiac telemetry, IV equipment, kangaroo pumps for tube feedings
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: 5-5 shifts; priority for day shift but night shift help also needed
- Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
- Patient Experience: Rounding with patients each shift to prepare for discharge
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs (top and bottom)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Utah
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Training in safe patient transfers
Additional Information
- Unit is heavily regulated by CMS guidelines
- Patients participate in 3 hours of therapy daily (PT, OT, and/or ST)
