Job Opportunity: RN - Behavioral Health

Location: White Hall, Arkansas

Position Details

Specialty: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend, 24 hours
Call Requirements: No call
Unit: Behavioral Health Unit (Adult and Geriatric)
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Number of Beds: 36 total (12 geriatric, 24 adult)
Float Requirements: Will float between adult and geriatric behavioral health units
EHR System: Cerner

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Experience: Minimum 3 years in acute behavioral health setting (highest stated requirement)
Certifications:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Handle With Care certification
Skills:
- Expertise in crisis stabilization, including verbal de-escalation and emergency physical intervention
- Experience with Cerner EHR system
Education: Associate degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with milieu management using the therapeutic milieu model
