Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Biddeford, Maine

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

• Float pool position with required floating to the Emergency Department (ED) to care for med/surg holds
• Night shift
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours, including weekends
• No call requirements
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and enter data into the EMR (Epic)
• Teamwork and reliability are important personality traits

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for Maine
• 2 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing (higher experience requirement confirmed)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• ED nursing experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to the ED as needed

Unit Information

• Patient ratios and number of beds vary based on unit
• EMR system: Epic
• Dress code: Any scrub color allowed (no offensive language); flip flops, shorts, and t-shirts are not acceptable attire
