Location: Salem, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: CV Cath Lab
• Staff on Unit: Approximately 15 (including RN, CVT, ARRT, RCIS)
• Shift Coverage: Day shift example - 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
• Equipment Used: GE, Philips, MacLab, EMR (MediTech)
• Typical Procedures:

  • Cardiac Catheterization
  • Interventions
  • STEMI management
  • Peripheral Angiography and Interventions

Schedule

• 4 days of 10-hour shifts (rotating days off)
• Rotating on-call during the week and weekends

Required Qualifications

• Electrophysiology Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• Floating Areas: EP Lab, Pre/Post holding areas
