Job Description

• Perform required laboratory testing with technical proficiency.
• Assist in the pre-analytical phase including specimen procurement, identification, and proper handling.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical problems related to laboratory processes.
• Assess and verify the validity of patient test results, identifying issues that may affect test performance or reporting.
• Maintain legible, accurate, and organized records.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team, following instructions and communicating professionally with coworkers and caregivers.
• Exercise discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
• Manage multiple tasks and remain calm under stressful situations.
• Understand various operations, policies, and procedures related to laboratory work.
• Demonstrate initiative, effort, and commitment to prioritizing and completing assignments.
• Possess core knowledge of normal laboratory processes, human anatomy, and medical terminology.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pathologists' Assistant, with experience within the last year.
