Mental Health Coordinator (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) - Travel Position

Job Summary

Provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature within the facility. Responsibilities include conducting mental health screenings and assessments, developing and modifying individual treatment plans, documenting treatment activities, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering counseling and crisis interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on inmate needs and functioning levels.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques in treatment and activities.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to inmates.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable position.
• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Must hold appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification/licensure valid in the state of practice.
• Other: Must be at least 18 years old. A valid driver’s license is preferred unless otherwise required.
