Job Overview

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Start time: 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed hours per week: 36
• Weekends: Up to every other weekend
• Holidays: Holiday rotation as needed
• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Minimum 3+ years experience as an RN
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Neuro Trauma experience
• Ortho Trauma experience
• Experience with Epic

Clinical Experience

• Trauma surgical
• Neuro
• Ortho
• Experience with chest tubes
• Experience with PCA, epidural, and Q-ball
• Experience with CBI
• Experience caring for post-op neuro trauma surgeries
• Experience caring for post-op ortho trauma surgeries, including fusions and backs/spines

Work Setting

• Float throughout the facility within skillset
• Float to other facilities within a 60-mile radius

Additional Details

• Scrub color: Black
• Patient ratio: 1:5-1:6 on nights
• No call or callback requirements
• 8-hour unbillable orientation
• Charting experience with EPIC within the last 2 years required
