Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
Schedule Details:

Every 3rd weekend required
Holiday rotation including Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
No on-call or call-back requirements

Unit and Work Environment

Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
Fast-paced environment requiring strong documentation skills
Candidate may be required to float to other units and nearby facilities based on census (with approval)
Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed)

Required Qualifications

Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting
At least 1 prior travel contract preferred
Epic charting experience within the last 12 months
Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
