Job Opportunity: LPN - Pediatrics

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Typical hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Friday: rotating late shift, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must be flexible and willing to be part of a team
• Required to travel to an offsite location twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Duties include:

  • Taking vitals, height, weight
  • Lab draws and cheek swabs
  • Answering phones and portal messages promptly
  • Making patient appointments and working on authorizations
  • Reconstituting Botox for injections
  • Assisting with procedures and diagnostic tests
• May be assigned to work at any satellite location

Work Locations

• Main office: Health Center, South Campus, Norfolk, VA
• Satellite locations include:

  • Health Center and Urgent Care at Tech Center, Newport News, VA (Tuesdays, Thursdays)
  • Health Center at Oakbrooke, Chesapeake, VA (Mondays)
  • Health and Surgery Center at Concert Drive, Virginia Beach, VA (Monday-Wednesday)

Dress Code & Other Info

• Clean, neat, and appropriately fitted scrubs and sneakers required
• No specified scrub color or pattern
• Lunch/snacks should be brought by the traveler; 30 minutes allotted for lunch
• Office closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Day

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
• Experience in Pediatrics
