Registered Nurse (L&D) – Wenatchee, Washington

Job Type

• Long Term Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night (1900-0730), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State or Compact RN License
• Current BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications
• Must adhere to Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards
• Ability to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
• Willingness to take call if census is low

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures/treatments
• Continuously evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and patient education needs
• Accurately document assessments, care provided, interventions, and patient responses
• Collect patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative patient needs
• Educate patients, families, and significant others with timely health information and written materials
• Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise non-licensed assistive personnel
• Participate in performance evaluation and improvement processes
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment according to hospital and unit policies
