Adult Cardiac Sonographer

Job Overview

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment type: Long-term assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotational evening and weekend call
Setting: Combined inpatient and outpatient cardiac studies

Key Responsibilities

Perform TEE, stress echo, and TTE studies

Required Qualifications

Echo Technologist with 2 years of experience
Echo Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ARDMS
Driver's License

Onboarding / Health Requirements

MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
Tdap within the last 10 years
Fit test completed before start and within the last 12 months
Physical/health statement within the past 12 months
COVID-19 vaccine proof or declination is optional

Additional Notes

BLS must remain current throughout the assignment
Some onboarding items must be completed within 30 days before start
Canadian-licensed candidates must provide proof of valid TN visa status or TN eligibility documentation
