Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment within the previous 15 months
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in General surgery cases
- Experience in DaVinci Robotics cases
- Experience in Pediatric cases
- Trauma experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrub experience
- Experience with neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ear/nose/throat, and vascular cases
- Trauma Level I experience
Work Expectations
- May be required to float across all campuses
- Required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- Weekend call runs from end of shift Friday until 6:30 a.m. Monday
Additional Details
- 16-hour orientation
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Average caseload: 35–50 cases per day
- Scrubs provided
- EPIC experience within the previous 3 years is required
