Job Opportunity: RN Educator – Family Birthplace Unit (Perinatal)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN Educator to focus on educating operating room circulation for C-sections within the Family Birthplace Unit. This role requires very high proficiency in labor & delivery (L&D) or circulating and C-sections. Note that candidates who are solely "Straight L&D RNs" will not be considered.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years current RN Educator experience in the perinatal field (highest required years of experience).
• Experience educating circulating in the OR for C-sections.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Education & Certification

• BSN or higher degree required.
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications must be in hand and uploaded with profile.
• NRP certification is mentioned in the description but not explicitly required; ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Massachusetts nursing license must be in hand and uploaded; facility will not pend license.

Additional Requirements

• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.
• Must provide:

  • Work history.
  • Skills checklist relevant to the position (current within 1 year).
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
  • License and certifications uploaded with profile.
• Must include permanent address with profile upload.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (generic availability like "anytime" is not accepted).
• Facility will not consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility.
• COVID-19 vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) is required unless an approved exemption is provided. If exempted, traveler must wear a mask at all times on site.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 3 days of time off will be accepted.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.

• Massachusetts nursing license required and must be current and uploaded.
