Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Details

Job Description

• Start Dates: Must be able to start on 2/24 or 3/10.
• Experience Required:

  • 5 years of experience as an RN (recent experience within the last 3 months).
  • Psych/Behavioral Health experience is required.
  • Must have pediatric/child/adolescent psych experience.
• Responsibilities:

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
  • Utilize the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
  • Provide clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
  • Participate in the Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program, which offers 24-hour care for patients with co-occurring psychiatric issues.

Additional Requirements

• MEDITECH Experience: Required.
• Floating and Charge Shifts: Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts.
• Submission Requirements:

  • Resume with psych experience and age groups listed.
  • Psych skills checklist (within the last year).
  • Two supervisory references from the last two years of employment.
  • Certifications (must be willing to obtain).
  • Driver's license or candidate's address must be included in the submission packet.
  • Outline patient populations experience.
  • Any scheduling requests must be presented in the submission file.

Housing

• Facility housing may be offered depending on vacancy, with costs ranging from $300-450 per week.

Important Notes

• Candidates living within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a rate decrease.
• RTO (Request Time Off) cannot exceed 7 days.
• Orientation hours may vary based on certification status.
