Unit cares for Pulmonary / Med Surg patients
Bed size: 23
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-6
Uses EPIC

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Iowa
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
Experience working with Pulmonology patients
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

Experience caring for Pulmonary / Ventilated patients on bi-pap and trach care
Level I trauma experience

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

No locals within 50 miles of the facility
Contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Will accept first-time travelers if the 2+ year Med Surg experience requirement is met
May care for COVID+ patients
