Cardiovascular Sonographer

Overview

Temp assignment in Sioux City, Iowa
Days shift, 8 hours per day
Contract length: 13 weeks
Based in a Level 3 Trauma Center
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses

Role focus

Cardiovascular sonographer with vascular experience
Full vascular skill set expected, including vascular processes, renal, pre-op, pain mapping, and more detailed work
Typical volume: 7–8 scans per day

Required Qualifications

Echo-Vascular Technician with 2 years of experience
Echo-Vascular Technician experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or US Military
ARDMS or CCI
Driver's License
Full vascular skill set including renal, pre-op, and pain mapping
Echo Technologist experience
Vascular Sonographer experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred

BLS from AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted

Additional details

NBO: 16 hours
EMR: EPIC
Dress code: Black Scrubs
Traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day
Limit of 1 day request off between 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27
