Interventional Radiology Technologist
Overview
- Temp assignment in Des Moines, Iowa
- Days shift
- 13-week contract
- Unit handles vascular procedures
- Duties include scrub, circulate, and monitor
- About 25 cases per day
- Call team covers both facilities, with most emergencies at IMMC (level I)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
- Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- Experience working with Vascular patients
- Experience in a Hospital setting
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Level I trauma experience
- Iowa Radiology license
- ARRT (CI or VI)
- AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS
Additional Details
- No locals; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- 1st time travelers welcomed
- Contractor is required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
