Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech/Pediatrics
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Facility: Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital, Medical University of South Carolina
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with holiday rotation.
- Orientation: The first week may include day shifts for orientation, followed by a set schedule.
Responsibilities
- Daily caseload varies.
- On-call rotation required based on unit needs.
- May float to other buildings on the same campus or pediatric imaging locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year; first-timers accepted.
- Certifications Required:
- ARRT (R) and BLS
- Additional certifications may be required based on specific unit needs (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
- Experience Preferred:
- OR experience, C-arm experience (training available).
- O-arm experience (training available).
- Trauma experience preferred but not required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency; not provided by the facility.
- State License: South Carolina license must be in hand prior to start.
- Background Check: Required, including verification of last 3 clinical employers.
- Health Documents:
- Annual TB Questionnaire.
- Vaccination records (COVID-19, Flu, Tdap, etc.).
- Fit test for N95 masks within 90 days prior to start.
- References: Proof of 2 clinical references required.
