Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Details

• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights (1900-0730)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required; some back-to-back weekends possible depending on department needs
• Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
• Must have ventilator and hospital acute/ICU experience
• Cerner charting experience required
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• First-time travelers not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Montana
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Hospital acute/ICU experience
• Experience with Cerner

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Current and valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Physical exam within 1 year stating good health and ability to perform job duties
• Quantitative fit test with 3M mask within 90 days prior to start (annual renewal required)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (annual renewal required)
• Required vaccinations or proof of immunity:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Seasonal Flu (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Negative drug screen within 30 days of start (annual renewal required)
• Two professional references required, including one direct supervisor reference within the last year
• Employment application covering 7 years of work history with explanations for any gaps over 30 days

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be willing to work night shifts and meet weekend requirements
• Locals within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Prior travel experience is mandatory; no first-time travelers accepted
