Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification only
• Other certifications may be required based on unit or specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy, EFM) - verify as applicable

Required Licenses

• Valid Registered Nurse license for California
• NURSYS verification required

Required Documents & Checks

• Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Education Verification (nursing degree)
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start
• Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • TDAP (within 10 years) or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer or declination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination
  • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respiratory Safety Clearance (annual medical clearance for respirator use)
• Fit Mask testing (annual, onsite if no recent record)

Additional Requirements

• References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format
• Skills Checklist: Required for applicable units, updated annually
• Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start (including regulatory, specialty, and regional modules)
• Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background)

• Must comply with float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
• Epic training modules required and must be completed promptly after access is granted

Summary

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in a GI Lab setting requiring at least 2 years of RN experience. The role includes on-call duties and requires current BLS certification and a valid California RN license. Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 2 years of GI Lab nursing experience
• GI Lab experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
