Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Therapist (RRT)

Job Summary

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist with specialty in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Background check completed within 1 year of start date, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years.
• Education verification (diploma, transcript, or third-party verification).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification as required by unit/specialty (AHA).
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year of start (must use 1870+ mask).
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes.
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity: MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Hepatitis B.
• Drug screening (9-panel urine drug screen within 3 months of start).
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season.
• Seasonal COVID vaccination or declination.
• State license verification prior to start and upon expiration.
• Annual competency exam.
• Performance evaluation documentation (most recent and annual).
• Facility-specific orientation and policy acknowledgments.

Additional Requirements

• Background checks including HHS/OIG clearance.
• Compliance with state-specific registry and search requirements.
• Completion of facility-specific modules and orientation checklist.
• Some certifications may be required or preferred depending on unit (e.g., Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), ENPC, NIH Stroke Certification).
